  • We tutor students from kindergarten through Grade 12 — plus adults — in study skills, reading, phonics, spelling, vocabulary, elementary through advanced math, science, and more. We also offer test prep for the ACT, SAT, GED, ASVAB, PARCC, High School Placement Test (HSPT), Independent School Entrance Exam (ISEE), and other tests for local and state exams.

  • Third-party research conducted by the Chicago Public Schools, The Los Angeles Unified School District, the Indiana DOE, and others overwhelmingly supports individualized tutoring as the best educational option. Policy Studies Associates studied our data and determined students who participated in the Huntington Learning Center program found a positive relationship between tutoring and academic proficiency.   • We typically recommend at least twice per week during the school year and three or more times per week in the summer. In general, this schedule helps determine how quickly your child begins excelling in school.

  • With your permission, we will discuss your child’s academic needs and progress with his or her teachers, school personnel, and other professionals. In fact, we recommend it to help them understand the improvements they will see in your child’s skills, confidence, and motivation.

  • Yes! Although we don’t diagnose this condition, we can help students with ADHD make great progress in all subject areas.

  • Our unique approach to tutoring includes highly reliable assessments that evaluate strengths and weaknesses, tailored tutoring programs that are unique to each child’s learning style, and transparent communication with parents.   • Our students make great progress in a short time! For example, second graders threatened with retention can make so much progress that they avoid retention and, in fact, excel in third grade. Middle schoolers facing an increase in more complex assignments can strengthen the foundational skills that will help them in high school and beyond. High schoolers who need help with specific subjects — or improved study skills — can begin excelling in class. When prepping for the SAT or ACT, students can expect outstanding improvements of 248 points and 5.9 points on average, respectively.
