Nancy was nervous, shy and self-conscious.
Even though she was finishing up her sopho-
more year of high school, she tested on a 6th
grade level. Nancy's main goal in coming to us
was to become a special education teacher.

mother to send her to a vocational school for a
year after graduation to gain the skills to
