Biology

Biology is typically offered in high school. It is the study of living things, including plants and animals. Knowledge of biology helps us understand how the body works and how plants grow. People who work in the following professions must understand biology: agriculture, medicine, pharmacy, biotechnology, genetics, health care, oceanography, and zoology.
