What do Huntington Centers look like and how do they work?

Each Huntington Center is designed with tutoring in mind, providing the perfect blend of personalized attention and privacy for tutoring. Each center accommodates students of all ages and grades, even adults, in a caring, nurturing environment. Our color palette and wall decorations are designed to provide a soothing environment conducive to instruction.

Visit your neighborhood center and you'll first see our inviting waiting room and be greeted by our Assistant Director. If you want a private conference with us, we invite you into our comfortable offices to listen to your questions and respond with constructive, consultative advice.

For those students who are just starting instruction with us, we have rooms dedicated to conducting Academic Evaluations and other initial evaluations.

Once students begin instruction, we use our custom-designed study carrels that are arranged to provide optimum student-teacher interaction. Books and other materials are conveniently placed nearby to insure maximum use of tutor time. Our record keeping process insures continuity of instruction from session to session and permits our Director of Education to review programs frequently, targeting the need for any program changes.

Our custom-designed facility offers windows between every instructional room to insure that all of our tutors are under our constant supervision and that no tutor is ever alone with any child.
