Writing skills reveal a lot about a person. People are constantly communicating through e-mail messages, letters, essays, and reports. These written pieces need to convey ideas effectively, concisely, and with proper grammar and usage conventions.

Students must first be able to decide what they want to say. Then they must work through the writing and editing process to communicate ideas that meet their goals.

Huntington's academic evaluation identifies a student's weak skills. Instructors then develop an individualized program that builds these skills before progressing to the next skill level.
